I was waiting until we made it to California to start Jack on solid foods, because I knew Mama Tess would get a kick out of feeding him for the first time. He really took to it. He ate that nasty gruel-like rice cereal like a pro. After the first feeding, he was able to sit in the high chair by himself, and just opened up wide whenever he saw the spoon getting close.

he is adorable! i can't believe you let your mother in law feed him solids first. i would be so selfish and want that all to myself! it also cracked me up how you said it was gross and he loved it so much. when i had my tonsils out i had to have my pills crushed in baby food and it really is horrible, horrible, horrible! i did like one flavor but i do not even remember it becasuse even that was nasty.
ReplyDeleteJack didn't fall far from the apple tree. His daddy loved food at a young age too. He was also chubby like Jack. Although Jack looks like a Skinner on the outside he is a Valdivieso on the inside. Toooo funny.
